I have written and re-written this so many times, but cannot find the right words. We will never get over the hole you've left, Grandad. Thank you for being the best dad to Siobhan and Grandad to Maisie, and to me, the absolute greatest father-in-law I could wish for - one of my biggest supporters. I only wish I had more opportunity to tell you that. I hope you know I will always honour your memory by being the best father and husband I can be to the girls. You've taught me so much, and even more so in these last few weeks. I PROMISE that your values, kindness, humbleness, and love will live on. Thank you just doesn't cut it <3

Dad, I miss you so much. You are everything to me; a true best friend, an incredible Father, the most loving and supportive person I know. This is truly the hardest thing I've ever had to go through and not being able to talk it all through with you is torture. I'm not sure how I will manage without you here.
